Privacy Policy

When you create an account on blockPlay, we collect your email address, username, and display name. During gameplay, we collect game scores, session data, and performance metrics. We also collect your approximate location (country) based on your IP address to provide region-appropriate services and display country flags in live activity feeds.

Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed securely through Stripe. blockPlay does not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. Stripe handles all sensitive payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. We retain only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status for account management.

How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to: (a) create and manage your account; (b) process subscriptions and payouts; (c) display leaderboards and activity feeds; (d) verify gameplay integrity and enforce fair play; (e) communicate important updates about the Platform; (f) improve our games and user experience.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your username, avatar, country flag, game scores, and activity are visible to other users on leaderboards and activity feeds. We share data with third-party service providers only as necessary to operate the Platform, including Stripe for payment processing and Supabase for data storage and authentication.

blockPlay uses essential cookies to maintain your login session and preferences. We may use analytics tools to understand how the Platform is used and to improve performance. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication, and row-level security policies on our database. While no system is completely secure, we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

Data Retention

We retain your account data and game history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

You have the right to: (a) access the personal data we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your account and personal data; (d) export your data in a portable format; (e) withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. blockPlay is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
